If you like the softness inside our nappies, then you'll love the gentle fluffiness our new minky nappies.

'Minky' nappies have a soft, luxurious outer fabric, instead of the flat, smooth feel of a PUL fabric. Inspired by the coziness and contentment of Danish Hygge, our minky nappies are perfect for a snuggly winter’s day.

Both fabrics act in exactly the same way - providing a waterproof outer layer - they just feel different to the touch.

Our nappies are called pocket nappies. At the back of the nappy there is a pocket, which is where you put the inserts. Each nappy comes with 2 bamboo mix inserts, which make the nappy absorbent. When stuffing the inserts into the pocket, ensure that they are flat.

When your baby is brand new, you will only need one insert, which should last two to three hours. Once your baby starts to grow (which is always too quick!) and you find the nappy is not lasting as long, this is the time to add the other insert.

 How To

Our one size nappies are suitable for babies from 10-35lb - approximately 8 weeks old right up to when you start potty training. The popper system on the front of the nappy allows the nappy to grow with your baby. You simply snap the poppers together to make the nappy smaller and as your baby grows, undo them and this will make the nappy larger.

Some parents choose to use single-use nappies until the one size nappies are a cozy fit. If you want to use cloth from day one, why not look at our newborn nappies, designed especially for teeny tiny legs and bums.

Nappy Care

• Pre-washing before use helps increase the absorbency of your nappies. Follow the washing instructions below and repeat up to three times.

• After use, knock any solids into the toilet or remove liner if you have used one. Put used nappy in the nappy bucket until wash day.

• It can help to put the nappies on a cold rinse before washing as this ensures all the solids have been washed away before the washing cycle.

• Your nappies can be washed at 60°C, although 40°C is usually sufficient.

• Use your usual detergent, our nappies are designed to fit in with you, not the other way around.

• Don't use any fabric conditioner or bleaching agents

• Your nappies are best dried naturally, although you can put them on a low setting in the tumble dryer. Natural is best for your nappies and the planet too.

• Do be careful if they have been near heat such as the tumble dryer or radiator and don't stuff the inserts back in straight away. The heat can weaken the elastic and cause it to snap.

• If you do need to use barrier/nappy rash cream, ensure you use a liner.

Outer is made from 100% polyester with a polyurethane lining.

Inner is made from very soft microfleece.

Inserts are 2 layers bamboo and 2 layers microfibre.
